Privacy

This website is an information page and nothing more. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services, has no contact form and no newsletter. No accounts are created, nothing is sold here and no behaviour is analysed.

Only two things are processed: the technical logs every web server writes when a page is requested, and whatever you send us yourself by email.

As with any website, the server processes technical data when the page is requested: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system, and where applicable the page you came from. These server logs exist to keep the site running safely and to fend off attacks. They are not combined with other data and are not used to analyse behaviour.

The legal basis is the legitimate interest in operating the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; in Switzerland Art. 31(1) FADP).

The servers are located in Switzerland. Infomaniak processes the log data described above solely on our behalf. The logs serve operation and security only, are deleted automatically by the provider after a short period, and are neither analysed nor archived by us.

This data is not transferred abroad. The domain and the mailbox are held with the same Swiss provider.

All fonts and images are embedded in the page and served from the same server as the page itself. There is no connection to Google Fonts or to any other external service.

The order buttons and the links in the footer lead to Amazon, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. No plugins or tracking pixels from these providers are embedded – simply opening this page transmits no data to them.

Only when you click such a link does your browser leave this site. From that moment the privacy policy of that provider applies.

If you write to hallo@aurelvsworld.com, your message, your sender address and the remaining header data are processed in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR, depending on whether the matter is pre-contractual or not.

Messages are deleted no later than twelve months after the matter is closed, unless a statutory retention period applies.

There is no automated decision-making and no profiling. No data is sold to third parties or used for advertising.

You have the right to access the data held about you, to have it corrected or erased, to have its processing restricted, to data portability, and to object to processing. A short email to hallo@aurelvsworld.com is enough.

You are under no obligation to provide us with data. Without it, however, we cannot answer an enquiry.

This rests on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for visitors from the EEA, additionally on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

You may also complain to a supervisory authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EEA the authority responsible for where you live.

The controller is established in Switzerland. No representative in the Union under Art. 27 GDPR has been designated, because the processing carried out on this website is occasional, does not include special categories of personal data, and is unlikely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons (Art. 27(2)(a) GDPR).

This statement will be updated when the website or the services it uses change.
